    Father’s Day Weekend Events Lafayette 2021

    Father’s Day is coming up on Sunday June 20th, so I thought I would share some local Events happening in the Greater Lafayette Area for everyone to enjoy! Celebrate with Dad all weekend long, and don’t forget these local fishing spots and local parks and trails!

    Lafayette Aviators Baseball Game

    6/19/2021 & 6/20/2021 at Loeb Stadium

    $10 tickets, children under 2 are free. 

    Aviators Street Festival

    6/19/2021 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM 

    The Aviators Street Fest will be from 2pm-6pm (prior to the Aviators game at 7pm). The event will feature local food vendors, carnival games, team autographs, music and more! The street fest will take place on 24th St, between Wallace and Hines and on Wallace from 24th St to the fence line between Arni’s and the Custard Stand. See you there! 

    Prophetstown State Park Presents: Firefly Fly Over

    Did you know Indiana’s State Insect is a firefly? Join a naturalist at the campground campfire circle to learn more about fireflies! Follow the paved lane lined with tiki torches directly to the right of the campground playground. Feel free to bring your own container to catch fireflies for observation. (All fireflies will be released at the end of this program.)

    For all programs:

    Bug spray, sunscreen, and a full water bottle are recommended.

    Children under 14 must be accompanied by an adult.

    All programming free with park admission unless otherwise noted. All times are Eastern.

    Campground programs are also open to the public—park at the campground gate and walk in.

    Prophetstown State Park: Village Games

    6/20/2021 at 2:00 PM

    Join us at the village and play some fun games that children of the Prophetstown settlement might have played. Then make and take home a toy of your own. Park at the Visitor Center and safely cross the road.

    For all programs:
