The Cabin Restaurant & Lounge has been in business in its current form since 1995 and has been a local landmark on 446 since the 1960s. The Cabin is a roadside diner that is open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner in the restaurant which has seating for 50 and a capacity of 75. In the evenings, the restaurant side gives way to the Bar side of the business that serves the same great food in a different atmosphere. The Bar has seating for 30 with an attached outside deck that has seating for an additional 50 people. The Restaurant holds a food service permit, a 3-way liquor license, and an offsite catering permit to serve liquor offsite. The commercial kitchen is licensed to serve food and act as a commissary kitchen for catering services offsite. The Restaurant also includes a second building for parties and events. The building has one large room with an open floor design and a full basement for storage downstairs. Behind the Restaurant is a rustic cabin with six separate sleeping rooms and a private covered deck overlooking the forest. The cabins are original construction from the mid 1970s.
